MORGAN SOLAR ANNOUNCES 800W IV CURVE CAPABILITY

Toronto, Ontario. Morgan Solar today announced the latest expansion to its IoT sensor platform: the IV DAQ HP. This new model comes in response to a growing demand for DC health monitoring of higher-power solar panels and will allow for continuous IV Curve Tracing for panels with power input ranges rated up to 800W. The IV DAQ HP has already been shipped to multiple utility-scale sites as part of a record year for the product where deployments have reached 2 GW of monitored capacity.

The IV DAQ is a multi-purpose IoT sensor that uses continuous, in-line IV curve tracing to quickly generate deep datasets of panel performance under all site conditions. Customers ranging from field operations to asset managers to finance & risk teams can access an array of actionable insights through Morgan Solar’s Analytic Reports. Reports chart a wide range of DC Health Factors including:

The industry knows that the IV Curve is the gold standard in module performance measurement, but capturing those curves continuously across a site opens up so many additional forms of analysis. Customers can capture raw IV curves data, or they can work with our talented Analytics Team to receive empirical metrics, ready to use as inputs for PVSyst models.” says Paul Kealey, Senior Marketing Manager.
