Morgan Solar Hires Dr. Allan Tameshtit as New Director of IP

Toronto, Canada – Morgan Solar Inc. (MSI) welcomes Dr. Allan Tameshtit as the new Director of Intellectual Property. Dr. Tameshtit will manage and maintain the entire sequence of the intellectual property development process while providing insight and analysis for office actions.

The company’s IP portfolio growth has accelerated in recent years following the expansion of product offerings beyond solar panels and trackers for traditional utility scale projects into building interior and exterior hardware, IoT sensors, software and analytics. “All of our products, from SPOTlight energy producing building fenestrations to our IV DAQ curve tracers, generate data that we mine using AI to derive insights, improve our software and future offerings,” said John Paul Morgan, Founder and CTO. “Given this breadth of scope, Dr. Tameshtit’s expertise in quantum physics, quantitative methods, software and intellectual property make him a uniquely good fit to help Morgan Solar achieve its goals.”

Dr. Tameshtit is a registered patent agent in both Canada and the USA with over 23 years of IP experience. He did his postdoctoral research in physics at Harvard University and attended Suffolk University Law School. Morgan Solar Inc. welcomes Allan to the team.
